The Role
Bolton Council is seeking an enthusiastic Information Governance Assistant to join our small team of Information Governance practitioners. You will provide administrative support to the Information Governance team by acting as the first point of contact for enquiries into the department, including from the public and other organisations. The role includes inputting and circulating requests for information from the public, press and other external organisations. You will maintain accurate and effective case management systems, prepare and run reports on the progress of matters and organise external and internal meetings.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills and experience of communicating with the public are essential.
- You will have good organisational skills and be able to work with minimal supervision and prioritise your workload accordingly.
- Familiarity with or the ability to learn case management systems is essential.
- You must possess good organisational and inter‑personal skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a small team.
