The Role
Are you looking for an exciting, new role which will utilise your data and supervisory skills in a customer‑focused service which is integral to supporting the wider Council? If so, this could be the role for you. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our service as a Team Leader to support staff in delivering payment functions across the Council. Based initially in the Council’s Pensions Team, the role supports the wider Exchequer Services team, which includes Accounts Payable and Payroll.
About You
You will be a good communicator with excellent organisational skills. The role will require you to be motivated and approachable as you’ll be leading a team and supporting them to complete tasks and meet deadlines. A working knowledge of Exchequer Services systems and processes, and experience of supervising staff in a senior capacity is essential. Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Pensions, or a similar financial role would be an advantage. Please include a supporting statement or covering letter with your application.
