Fixed Term Contract Education Nursery School Early Years Educator Salary Grade A SCP 2-3 - Actual pro-rata salary £17,930.58 Term time Only Fixed term contract until 31st August 2026 Required ASAP.
We are looking for someone to work within our Nursery School and Day Care provision, providing some additional support for our delightful children aged between 1 and 4 years old. 32.5hrs hours per week: Monday to Friday (preferably 8.45am 3.45pm, with a 30 minute lunch break, but there is scope for this to be negotiated for the right candidate).

We are a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School, providing funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year-olds, as well as a High Needs Base provision for children with complex needs. Our Day Care Centre has all-year-round provision for babies and toddlers, as well as offering Wraparound and Holiday Care for our Nursery School children.
Visitors to our nursery are always impressed by the lovely atmosphere and the wonderful learning environment. They praise the way in which we care for and respect our children, the exciting experiences we provide them and the progress that they make. Our Nursery School and our Day Care Centre have both been judged to be Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.
The successful candidate will:
- hold a relevant level 2 qualification
- be an experienced early years practitioner
- have excellent subject knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
- understand the developmental and learning needs of young children from babies through to preschool
- have some experience of working with children with a range of additional developmental needs, although training will be provided where necessary
- be a great team player, friendly and professional
- be motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
- be dedicated to securing the very best outcomes for children
- demonstrate a commitment to providing quality learning experiences for children, both indoors and outdoors
