Moorgate Primary School, Tonge Moor area, Bolton is looking to appoint a Class Teacher for the Diamonds ASD Hub. The role involves working with children with Autism and their families.

Working Pattern: Full Time – 27.5 hours Monday to Friday, T1/T6 contract.

The Role: The Diamonds ASD Hub is an integral part of Moorgate Primary School. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient, have good time management and be able to cope with pressure while relating well to children on the ASD Spectrum.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the welfare and education of pupils with Autism in the age range 4‑11 years.
  • Share in the ethos and vision of the school, moving towards its aims, and have due regard to the school’s policies and practice.
  • Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and calm approach, and undertake a wide range of duties.

Qualifications & Experience: Applicants should have knowledge and understanding of working with children with Autism and their families. Relevant experience and a commitment to inclusive education are desirable.
