We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Biology lecturer. You will deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and support learners to maximise their potential and to make positive progress towards their timely successful achievement.
Ideally, you will:
- Hold a degree or equivalent in Biology.
- Possess a PGCE / Cert Ed. at Level 5 teaching qualification or equivalent.
- Hold GCSE’s in English and maths.
- Have experience within a scientific industry.
- Have excellent knowledge of science (Biology).
Day‑to‑day you will be responsible for:
- Delivering high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- Supporting the curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
- Taking part and complying with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Developing resources, supporting teaching programmes and delivering on a number of courses as required.
- Supporting the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
