Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer A with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Digital team.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Computing/Digital degree or equivalent professional qualification in vocational area to teach up to and including Level 5 in Digital subject
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
  • Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
  • Relevant, successful experience of teaching across a variety of levels – Entry Level 3 to Level 5
  • Experience of working with apprenticeships programmes

Day-to-day you will have responsibility:

  • To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
  • To support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
  • To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
  • Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
  • To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
