Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer A with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Catering Department.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Relevant Level 3 qualification in Catering and Hospitality
  • Level 3 Advanced Food Hygiene (or willingness to work towards)
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
  • Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
  • Evidence of professional updating and development

Day-to-day you will have responsibility:

  • To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
  • To support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
  • To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
  • Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
  • To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.

As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
