The Director of Apprenticeships, Partnerships & Skills Development will provide strategic leadership for the College’s apprenticeship provision, employer engagement activity, stakeholder partnerships and skills development agenda. The postholder will act as the College’s lead specialist for apprenticeship funding, compliance, quality and performance while also leading the development of strategic partnerships that support learner progression, employer engagement, skills development and economic growth.
Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant area
- GCSE English and Maths (minimum 4/C) or equivalent
- Evidence of recent professional updating and development
- Significant leadership experience within apprenticeships or work-based learning
- Experience of employer engagement and partnership development
Key responsibilities
- Act as the College lead for apprenticeship funding compliance
- Ensure compliance with DfE funding rules and requirements
- Support curriculum leaders to improve apprenticeship outcomes
- Identify opportunities to increase apprenticeship and workforce development income
As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
