Bolton Children’s Opportunity Group is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our caring and experienced team. We provide outstanding early years education and care for children aged 2–4, including those with additional needs, in a warm, inclusive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of our nursery team to support children’s learning, development, and well‑being through play‑based learning and individualised support. You will help to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s individual learning and development needs.
  • Promote positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to observations, assessments, and record‑keeping.
  • Support children with additional needs as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with children aged 2–4 years.
  • A sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
  • A caring, patient, and flexible approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
