Mergers and Acquisitions Actuarial Analyst
Bolton Associates is working on an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified actuary who wants to step away from traditional BAU responsibilities and move into a role where your work directly shapes strategic decisions.
This is a unique chance to join a well-established, global and growing (re)insurance group. Within their M&A team, you’ll work on multiple transactions, analysing new portfolios, new data and new risks.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting actuarial due diligence across global M&A transactions – the majority of the work will be from a reserving perspective, though the nature of the role also involves elements of capital and pricing.
- Building and developing actuarial models to assess new acquisitions.
- Working closely with internal teams as well as external advisors throughout the deal lifecycle.
What they’re looking for
- Part-qualified reserving analyst with 2+ years’ experience in the non-life sector.
- Exposure to capital or pricing is an advantage; M&A/due diligence experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Confident communicator who can work with multiple stakeholders and external advisers.
- Proactive, curious, commercially minded, and comfortable managing several workstreams.
If you’re looking for a new role where you can make an impact and gain great varied exposure, please reach out for a confidential chat. I’d be happy to share the full job description and additional details with you.
