Bolton Associates are working with a global insurance and reinsurance underwriter providing specialist solutions to clients and brokers worldwide, with offices in major international insurance markets and a strong capital base. We are looking for a nearly / newly qualified pricing actuary with long-tail experience to join their international pricing team in London. You will be involved in delivering pricing strategy, portfolio analytics, and business planning across the international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pricing and structuring of large and complex insurance risks across multiple lines of business.
  • Assist in developing and improving pricing tools and exposure-based models.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis to support growth strategy, performance monitoring, and remediation actions.
  • Support business planning, including loss ratio setting, trend analysis, and capital model inputs.
  • Contribute to pricing process improvements and best practice initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with underwriting, actuarial, and other business teams.
About You
  • Newly qualified actuary with 3+ years’ experience in London Market pricing.
  • Experience with Lloyd’s/London Market pricing techniques specifically long-tail classes.
  • Experience developing or improving exposure-based pricing tools.
  • Strong Excel skills; Power BI, SQL, or Python desirable.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
