We are working with a renowned London based specialty insurer who are looking for a pro-active graduate eager to start their actuarial career. The role will sit within the pricing team and you will have an all encompassing role ranging from building pricing models and tool development to research into market trends and portfolio reviews across a diverse range of lines of business. This is an immediate starting graduate position.
You will be joining a well respected team who have a fantastic learning and development programme in place designed to support graduates in their early careers with clear internal career progression opportunities. A full actuarial exam package is provided to support you as you work towards your qualification.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy building long standing relationships as you will work closely with the underwriters and be interacting with the wider business. You will need a strong academic background with AAB at A Level and a minimum 2:1 at degree level with a focus on numeric subjects.
Prior experience within an insurance or analytics role is highly advantageous however they will consider those without experience. You must be proficient with Excel and additional coding experience such as with R, Python or VBA, or an interest in developing these skills, would be beneficial.
Must have full right to work in the UK without restriction.
