London Market Company is seeking an ambitious Graduate Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join its Exposure Management team.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in catastrophe modelling, working closely with experienced professionals across underwriting, actuarial and exposure management.
You will support the Cat Manager with the end-to-end catastrophe modelling process, including exposure capture, pre-underwriting analytics, portfolio roll-ups, aggregation, monitoring and reporting across multiple territories.
The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to workflow improvements, automation projects and the ongoing development of the team's catastrophe modelling capabilities using Verisk models and internal systems.
Candidates should have a numerate degree in a STEM related discipline, together with a genuine interest in insurance, reinsurance and natural catastrophe risk.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with advanced Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.
Knowledge of catastrophe modelling, Verisk Touchstone, SQL, Power BI or programming languages such as Python, R or VBA would be advantageous, although full training will be provided for the right individual
