The RoleWe are working exclusively with an outstanding, leading specialty (re)insurer who are looking to hire a Head of Portfolio Management.Our client is seeking an experienced, qualified, London Market Actuary to join in a managerial role. As an organisation undergoing exponential growth, this role will suit a highly ambitious, commercial Actuary looking for an influential role.Examples of responsibilities will include ownership of inwards portfolio modelling across property and specialty lines; leading case pricing and supporting the design of bespoke outwards reinsurance programmes; collaborating with the catastrophe modelling teams and working directly with underwriting leads to advise on portfolio optimisation to ensure efficient use of capital.Experience RequiredYou will be a qualified Actuary, with a background in pricing or capital modelling with demonstrable experience gained from the Lloyd\’s or London Market. You will ideally have an understand of outwards reinsurance along with some form of understanding of catastrophe modelling principles. Solid technical experience alongside excellent project management essential.Candidates will be excellent communicators, detail oriented and should be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude to working with internal and external stakeholders.
