Our client is a global provider of property, casualty and specialty insurance and reinsurance, and are seeking a Graduate Analyst to join a small catastrophe modelling team, reporting into the Senior Catastrophe Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work across Property, Energy, Marine and other lines as required to support catastrophe modelling.
  • Provide underwriters with the analytics they need to make informed decisions.
  • Utilise data handling and analysis skills with Excel; experience with SQL and/or programming in Python or R is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Good data handling and analysis skills with solid Excel experience; ideally SQL and/or programming in Python or R.
  • Prior relevant work experience in an analytical role is well regarded; otherwise an academic background in a numerical or science subject with requisite IT skills is expected.
