Contract Opportunity – Senior Pricing Actuary (6–12 months, London Hybrid)
A leading global insurance and reinsurance group is seeking an experienced Senior Pricing Actuary on a contract basis to support the expansion of their actuarial pricing capabilities across international portfolios. This is a high-impact role working closely with senior leadership on strategic pricing initiatives, deal evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Support portfolio steering and growth initiatives by delivering pricing insight and analysis.
- Evaluate large, multi-class deals, providing commercial viability assessments.
- Monitor key MGA and third-party relationships through regular performance reviews.
- Conduct peer reviews and guide junior team members on best practice pricing techniques.
- Contribute to syndicate planning, including loss ratio setting, inflation assumptions and trend analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, and risk for projects such as ORSA and strategy reviews.
Strong pricing experience across multiple lines of business, ideally in both insurance and reinsurance. Comfortable analysing large data sets and delivering commercial insight. Effective communicator who can collaborate across actuarial, underwriting, and senior leadership teams.
