We work across tennis, golf, motorsport, volleyball, and more; partnering with rights holders and broadcasters to elevate how sport is seen, understood, and enjoyed.

As Volleyball Project Lead, you manage end-to-end delivery of Bolt6 products at live sporting events. You will work closely with Operations Managers, supervise senior engineers, graduate engineers and placement students, and take responsibility for on-site leadership and delivery accuracy. The role blends technical input, planning, team leadership, and continuous system improvement. You will work approximately 150 days on-site each year, lead preparation and live delivery, and act as the first point of escalation for site teams. This role is instrumental in shaping how our systems perform at event level and how our team evolves.

Event Delivery
  • Lead full operational delivery for assigned events across volleyball
  • Oversee setup, live operation, and post-event review
  • Manage pre-event communications with internal teams, tournament directors, partners, and vendors
  • Maintain delivery quality, reliability, and operational control
  • Coordinate remote support when not on-site
Operational Performance
  • Identify improvements in processes, documentation, and set-up workflows
  • Maintain accurate tracking of technical kit and logistics
  • Keep operational requirements and playbooks aligned with product developments
  • Support introduction of new systems on-site and guide teams through adoption
  • Line manage up to eight engineers or senior engineers
  • Support site leads, act as escalation point, and build their confidence in live delivery
  • Run performance feedback cycles and maintain accurate skill records
  • Assist with recruitment and progression of operational staff
Feedback & Communication
  • Capture feedback from technical directors and partner teams
  • Share operational insights with leadership and development groups
  • Support troubleshooting during live events, both remotely and on-site

Location

In this role, expect to be working on-site at sports events around the world for around 150 days per year. When not on-site, you may work remotely, or from our offices in London or Winchester.
