From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day.

Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.

  • Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role

We're looking for a Strategy and Operations Manager to help turn Bolt's People strategy into measurable outcomes and scalable ways of working.

In this role, you'll drive operational excellence across the People function, lead the adoption of AI-powered tools, and build the frameworks that help teams set goals, measure success, and deliver impact at scale.

Reporting to the VP of People, you'll operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, technology, and analytics.

You'll work closely with People leaders, Finance, FP&A, and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure priorities are translated into clear plans, measurable outcomes, and consistent execution.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, building systems from the ground up, and using technology to improve how teams operate.

You'll play a key role in helping the People function scale efficiently while ensuring it remains aligned with Bolt's broader business objectives.

  • Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Evaluate technology investments, manage vendor relationships, build business cases, and measure the return on People technology initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of new tools and ways of working through change management, enablement, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Build and maintain KPI and goal-setting frameworks, ensuring People priorities are measurable, aligned, and connected to business outcomes.
  • Partner with People leaders, Finance, and FP&A to manage headcount planning, budgets, forecasting, and organisational reporting.
  • Lead and coordinate high-priority People initiatives from initial scoping through to delivery, implementation, and impact measurement.
  • Own the People function's AI tooling roadmap, identifying, piloting, and embedding solutions across recruiting, performance management, analytics, onboarding, and HR operations.

About You

  • You have designed and implemented structured operating frameworks, such as goal-setting architectures, OKRs, KPI systems, or business operating cadences.
  • You have experience evaluating, implementing, and scaling technology solutions, with the ability to assess investment decisions, drive adoption, and measure impact.
  • You are highly analytical and comfortable building models, challenging assumptions, and presenting data-driven recommendations directly to senior stakeholders.
  • You are a structured problem solver who can navigate ambiguity, diagnose root causes, and translate insights into practical solutions and execution plans.
  • You are commercially minded, technologically curious, and motivated by improving systems, processes, and outcomes at scale.
  • You have experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or chief of staff roles within a high-growth technology company or leading consulting environment.

Previous People or HR experience is not required.

  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
