About The Role
Rides is Bolt’s largest vertical, operating in 600+ cities across 50+ countries.
The Rides Operations Analytics function is the analytical engine behind how we run it.
It covers supply, consumer experience, risk and compliance, safety, operational excellence and customer support programmes.
It partners directly with regional management, domain heads and executive leadership.
As Head of Analytics, Rides Operations, you will own global operations analytics for the vertical and lead a team of 12+ analysts and managers, plus a dotted line to 2.5+ Analytics Engineers.
You will identify growth and profitability opportunities, manage the efficiency of operations and financial investments, and act as the strategic partner for regional and executive leadership.
The function is at a turning point.
It is moving from descriptive reporting to impact assessment, experimentation, and a predictive, AI-native, science-rich approach that takes us from hypothesis to measurable impact.
You will set the vision for that shift and lead it.
Our data foundations are well underway but not finished, so accelerating the engineering foundations is a core priority alongside the roadmap.
Over your first 3-6 months, you will set the vision and ways of working for the predictive, AI-native stack, accelerate the data foundations, and build relationships across the business.
You will also assess the team and give it the care and direction it needs.
This role has a clear growth path.
Based on delivery and performance, it can grow into Director of Analytics within about three years, with opportunities beyond that across other verticals and functions.
