Bolt Technical are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global FMCG business, for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join its growing field service engineering team of 30 in the UK.
You’ll play a key role in delivering technical excellence and ensuring that equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction are consistently upheld.

Responsibilities
- Install, commission, repair, and maintain food processing and packaging machinery.
- Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably at all times.
- Provide on-site support and technical expertise to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of service, maintenance, and repairs.
- Work autonomously across a regional customer base while collaborating with the wider technical team.

- Qualified multi-skilled engineer with experience in the FMCG or food production sectors
- Electro-mechanical background (apprenticeship or equivalent) preferred
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and motor control systems
- Experience with PLCs and Ladder Logic is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Full, valid UK driving licence required
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused, 'can-do' attitude

- Competitive basic salary of £45,000 per annum – OTE of circa £65,000

- Optional overtime available (£50/hour on weekends, 1.5x standard rate before 8:30am and after 5:30pm).
