Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: Kettering Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern Salary: £53,487, increasing to £56,303 upon successful sign-off as competent in role Shift Pattern * 2 x Mornings: 06:00 - 14:30 * 2 x Afternoons: 14:00 - 22:30 * 2 x Nights: 22:00 - 06:30 * 4 Days Off An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Back End Line Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of Back End equipment, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable production. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer looking to develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic production environment. Duties of a Customer Service Representative: * Maintain Deco, Inside Spray, Necker and Palletiser equipment * Complete daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks * Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding * Ensure equipment meets quality and safety standards * Complete maintenance records and production documentation * Support line efficiency and minimise downtime * Work closely with Production Teams, Team Leaders and Shift Managers * Provide effective shift handovers and support continuous improvement initiatives What you'll need: Essential: * Engineering qualification or equivalent experience * Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Good communication skills and attention to detail * Ability to interpret data and work independently or as part of a team Desirable: * Engineering Degree * Time-served engineering apprenticeship * Fabrication and welding experience * Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data.
