About Bolt

Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding. And we’re just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you’ll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
  • Join one of Europe’s leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role

The Driver Engagement Group Domain Manager is a recognised expert and leader within their domain, owning the strategy and performance of everything that keeps drivers active, satisfied, and loyal on the Bolt platform - from marketplace quality and ratings, to utilisation and OH growth. They set the strategic direction, prioritise high-ROI programmes, and ensure successful execution across central and local teams. They act as the single-threaded owner of the domain’s primary metrics, championing a culture of continuous improvement among ambiguity.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Domain Leadership: Own the long-term strategy for Driver Engagement, spanning topics including driver quality and ratings, order finish rate and utilisation.
  • Performance Management: Own and scale performance management of the domain's core metrics including order acceptance/completion rates, driver ratings, online hours and driver satisfaction. Run recurrent reporting mechanisms and lead the path-to-green for underperforming markets or programmes.
  • Commercial Execution: Prioritise and drive high-ROI initiatives that maximise driver engagement across markets, translating opportunities into clear, quantified business cases.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Act as the single-threaded programme owner, influencing Product, Growth, Local Ops, Marketing, and Legal roadmaps to unblock strategic initiatives across the domain.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and upskill a team of Program Managers, ensuring commercially-driven execution, strong data discipline, and a high-performance culture.

About You

  • You have a proven senior leadership experience in ride-hailing, mobility, or two-sided marketplace businesses, ideally covering driver/partner engagement or quality.
  • You have a track record of building and scaling large driver/partner engagement or retention programmes across multiple markets.
  • You have a deep understanding of marketplace quality mechanics — ratings, acceptance and cancellation behaviour, and driver scoring systems.
  • You are able to define long-term engagement strategy in competitive, multi-market, regulated environments.
  • You have strong commercial and analytical acumen, comfortable building business cases and making data-driven decisions.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
