Location: North West Region - Liverpool and surrounding

Salary: 45,000 per annum + Door to Door Pay + Overtime and Enhancements OTE of c 65,000 per annum + Company Car

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm + Optional Overtime - no weekend work or night shifts.

Bolt Technical are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global FMCG business, for a hands-on Field Service Engineer to join its growing field service engineering team of 30 in the UK. You will play a key role in delivering technical excellence and ensuring that equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction are consistently upheld. Enjoy a Monday to Friday working pattern with regionally focused assignments, meaning minimal nights away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, repair, and maintain food processing and packaging machinery.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably at all times.
  • Provide on-site support and technical expertise to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of service, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Work autonomously across a regional customer base while collaborating with the wider technical team.

What They’re Looking For:

  • Qualified multi-skilled engineer with experience in the FMCG or food production sectors.
  • Electro-mechanical background (apprenticeship or equivalent) preferred.
