About Bolt

Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars.

What started as an ambitious project of a 19‑year‑old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride‑hailing and food delivery to scooters, e‑bikes, and car‑sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day.

Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we’re just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you’ll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
  • Join one of Europe’s leading technology companies, backed by world‑class investors including Sequoia.

About The Role

The CEO & Founders Office is a small, high‑performing team working directly with Bolt’s CEO and Management Team on the company’s highest‑priority opportunities and challenges.

The team leads company‑wide strategic planning and business performance reviews, strengthens the operating systems behind them, and supports critical strategic initiatives and urgent business challenges.

As the CEO Office Data & AI Lead, you will be a senior individual contributor reporting to the Chief of Staff.

You will independently lead high‑impact analytical and AI‑enabled workstreams, from framing ambiguous business questions through analysis, recommendation, and implementation support.

This is not a traditional reporting or analytics role.

You will combine advanced analytics, commercial judgment, executive communication, and AI‑native problem‑solving to help senior leaders make better and faster decisions.

Your work will directly contribute to company strategy, capital allocation, organisational priorities, and executive decision‑making.

You will also play a central role in defining how the Founders Office uses AI—designing intelligent workflows, automating recurring analysis, prototyping new capabilities, evaluating emerging technologies, and embedding AI into everyday decision‑making.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and AI, partnering directly with Bolt’s leadership to shape how one of Europe’s leading technology companies makes decisions.

  • Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead high‑impact analytical and AI‑enabled workstreams across Bolt’s highest‑priority strategic and operational topics.
  • Translate ambiguous executive questions into structured analysis, actionable recommendations, and clear next steps.
  • Support strategic planning, business reviews, and performance management by identifying trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build analytical models, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and decision‑support tools using SQL, Python, BI platforms, and AI.
  • Design and automate AI‑first workflows for research, analysis, reporting, and decision support.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and deploy AI solutions, including agents, automations, integrations, and emerging tools, while ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Produce executive‑ready materials, influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and support confidential, high‑priority projects with limited guidance.

About You

  • You have experience leading complex analytical, strategic, or data‑driven work in a high‑performance environment, such as top‑tier consulting, Strategy & Operations, strategic finance, advanced analytics, or a leading technology company.
  • You are highly proficient in SQL and strong in Python, using both for analysis, modelling, automation, prototyping, and AI‑assisted development.
  • You use AI as a core part of how you work, with hands‑on experience delivering business outcomes through AI‑enabled workflows, automations, agents, or analytical tools.
  • You have practical experience with leading AI models and platforms—including Open AI, Anthropic, Gemini, Claude, Chat GPT, Notebook LM, or similar—and understand prompt engineering, workflow design, and agent‑based systems.
  • You are comfortable working with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, or Power BI), automation tools (Zapier, Make, or n8n), APIs, Git/Git Hub, and knowledge‑base or retrieval‑based AI solutions.
  • You combine rigorous analytical thinking with strong commercial judgment and can turn ambiguous questions and incomplete data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • You communicate complex ideas simply, influence Director‑, VP‑, and C‑level stakeholders without formal authority, and thrive in fast‑moving, high‑ambiguity environments.
  • Why You’ll Love It Here
  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1‑month paid sabbatical to recharge.
  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
  • Balance flexibility and in‑person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in‑office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.

At Bolt, using AI daily is a baseline expectation for everyone.

If there’s a faster, smarter way to do your work, we expect you to find it.

You’re still responsible for the output, so the standard stays high when using AI tools.

Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
