We’re looking for an entrepreneurial sales leader to work with a supportive and quality driven training provider who hope to hire a commercially savvy person to grow their B2B provision in London.
A little about the role:
- Agility
- Ability
- Autonomy
This means that you’ll have agility in your own decision making and proximity to the directorate when you need say so. You’ll have the ability to affect change in the ways you think will have the biggest impact to commercial growth. And, you’ll have the autonomy to do this without someone peering over your shoulder.
They want you to succeed in this role and plan to give you all the tools to do it.
The Role
You’ll be working with an established SME commercial training provider who have a very strong footprint in London delivering IT training on a B2C basis. They’re looking for someone who can build their B2B offering from this already successful platform. You’ll have access to existing lead generation, an inbound sales developer (telesales), and a considerable marketing spend. There are existing relationships and connections to build on in order to generate quick wins.
They’re not looking for run of the mill, this is genuine opportunity to help a training provider grow a new business unit. Average tenure is long and staff attrition is low. Alongside a great OTE, you’ll have a pathway to an even stronger earning potential in line with business growth.
If you like lots of hand-holding through your day, this isn’t the job for you. Autonomy is the expectation. No micro-management and full control of your business and processes.
There is an existing sales team focused on B2C and recruitment so you won’t be a lone wolf sales person, you will have access to peers and they’re a friendly bunch. Recognition is given where warranted with huge scope for progression.
The role is remote based but with sites in Hammersmith and London Bridge you’ll have access to office space when needed.
What about you?
If you're sitting on a heap of knowledge and ideas about generating sales within commercial (or funded) training provision and you're confident to speak about this at board level then it would be great to hear from you.
Those training & education account managers, business development managers, business managers, employer engagers, commercial directors, salespeople, or corporate partnership managers; this is a good move for you. Knowledge of digital or technology is preferred but not essential.
The provider is, relative to their size and capability, underrepresented in the B2B space so they're looking to make a statement by hiring the best and brightest business developer in the market.
Salary is circa £40k with annual bonus OTE £65-70k. If that's you and any of this sounds of interest then get in touch for an informal chat.
