Bolt Technical are hiring exclusively for a well-established and growing automatic door specialist, supporting national clients across retail, commercial, and public-sector sites. This is a long-term opportunity offering autonomy, strong earning potential, and genuine career stability within a close-knit engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, service, maintain, and repair automatic and industrial door systems
- Fault-find across electrical and mechanical door equipment
- Cover a defined regional patch with door-to-door pay
- Complete digital job reports via tablet/iPad
- Participate in overtime and on-call rota as required (area-based)
- Previous experience as an automatic door engineer
- EN16005 or BS7036 qualification
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- £40,000–£45,000 basic salary (45-hour week)
- OTE £80,000+ with regular overtime (six figures achievable!)
