p strong Role: R D Manager - Electronics /strong /p p strong Location: Hertfordshire /strong /p p strong Hours: Full-time /strong /p p strong Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience /strong /p p br /p p Bolt Technical are recruitment exclusively for a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced strong R D Manager - Electronics /strong to join an innovative R D Team, within an established business developing electronic products. /p p br /p p Working closely with the Managing Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, compliance and production. /p p br /p p strong Duties of an R D Manager - Electronics /strong /p ul li Lead and develop a multidisciplinary R D engineering team of 4 /li li Define and deliver the R D strategy in line with business objectives /li li Oversee the design and development of electronic products /li li Manage products from concept and feasibility through to prototyping, testing and production /li li Provide technical leadership across electronics, embedded systems and product development /li li Oversee product testing, validation and regulatory compliance /li li Work closely with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality teams /li li Manage multiple projects, ensuring priorities, timescales and deliverables are met /li li Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the product portfolio /li /ul p br /p p strong What you need to apply for R D Manager - Electronics /strong /p ul li Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related discipline /li li Proven experience leading an R D or engineering team within electronics product development /li li Previous experience in a people management role /li li Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics, embedded systems and microcontrollers /li li Experience with communication technologies such as DALI, Bluetooth, Zigbee, DMX or Ethernet /li li Proven experience taking electronic products from concept through to production /li li Understanding of regulatory, compliance, testing and certification requirements /li li Strong project management, leadership and communication skills /li li Experience using engineering design tools such as Altium and embedded development environments /li /ul p br /p p em By applying for this position, you confirm that you have read and understood our Data Privacy Statement and give Bolt Technical authorisation to hold your provided data. /em /p p br /p p em This vacancy is advertised by Bolt Technical, who are acting as an employment agency/business.
