- Monday - Thursday: Flexible start between 06:30 - 08:30, finish between 15:30 - 17:30

Bolt Technical are recruiting for a TIG Welder on behalf of a specialist engineering and manufacturing business supplying precision components and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies into highly technical industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and technically advanced manufacturing business focused on high-quality, low-volume production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components
- Perform pre-cleaning, setup, welding using filler material, and vacuum testing
- Read and interpret customer drawings and specifications
- Adjust weld settings to suit varying materials and conditions
- Use measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy
- Organise and maintain personal workspace and tools
- Work in line with company health & safety and ISO procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities across production
What They’re Looking For:
- Previous TIG welding experience with aluminium and stainless steel
- Experience working on vacuum or low-pressure systems advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Miller Dynasty welding equipment beneficial but not essential
- Aerospace, nuclear, or similar high-specification industry experience desirable
- Engineering apprenticeship or formal technical qualification advantageous
