Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:45, Friday 07:30 - 12:30

About the Opportunity

Bolt Technical are recruiting for a Quality Co-ordinator & QA Inspector to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business that supply into aerospace, defence, medical, motorsport, marine, energy and industrial markets. This is a varied role combining hands-on inspection with quality administration support. You will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer requirements while supporting quality processes, documentation and continuous improvement activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect manufactured products against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements
  • Use measurement equipment such as verniers to verify product quality
  • Identify and report non-conformances and support corrective actions
  • Complete and maintain quality documentation, including FAIRs
  • Support customer complaint investigations and internal quality processes
  • Maintain engineering drawings and quality records
  • Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams
  • Support continuous improvement activities

What They're Looking For

  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, inspection or production environments
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
  • Experience using measuring equipment (verniers preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Confident communication skills with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • Quality experience is beneficial, but the business is open to candidates from manufacturing backgrounds who have the right technical ability, attitude and willingness to learn.
