Overview
Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke mechanical machinery, operating at the forefront of engineering innovation. They are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their expanding team. This role is key to ensuring supplier and manufacturing quality, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards across all products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming components and materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools (verniers, micrometres, height gauges, etc.).
- Review supplier quality reports and coordinate corrective actions.
- Carry out internal audits and support ISO9001 compliance.
- Assist with 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams.
