About the Role:

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading FM services provider, looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their Southern Region team. You'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning and ventilation systems across commercial sites. This is a Monday-Friday role, with minimal overnight stays and participation in a rotating on-call schedule (1/5 weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, service, and repair of:
    • VRV/VRF systems
    • Single & multi-split systems
    • AHUs, supply and extract fans
    • Small chillers (preferred but not essential)
    • Minor A/C installations (preferred)
  • Asset collection and system database updates
  • Fault finding and remedial repair work
  • Plantroom housekeeping
  • Working to health & safety standards
  • Supporting stores and parts processes
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams
  • Participation in on-call rota

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in A/C or refrigeration maintenance
  • NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning (Level 2 considered)
  • F-Gas certification (essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills
  • Good understanding of plantroom and HVAC systems
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
