Bolt Technical are recruiting exclusively for a well-established, global manufacturer and distributor of electronic components, supplying customers across Aerospace & Defence, Medical, Education, and Telecommunications sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, highly supportive sales team as an Account Manager, managing existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities across a varied customer base. With structured training, clear progression to Senior Account Manager, and long-term stability, this role suits someone conscientious, commercially minded, and eager to grow within technical sales.
The Role
As part of the Regional Sales Team, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, and ensuring a consistently high level of customer service. Once fully trained, you will take ownership of a defined territory, working with a mix of small, medium, and large accounts. You will act as the key point of contact for customers, supporting them through the full sales cycle from enquiry and quotation through to order fulfilment and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for growth
- Build strong working relationships with customers across multiple industries
- Process customer quotes and purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Support price negotiations, forecasts, and special pricing requests
- Liaise with internal teams and corporate head office to deliver timely solutions
- Expedite orders and manage delivery timelines to meet customer requirements
- Handle customer complaints and non-conformances, driving corrective and preventative actions
- Contribute to team sales targets and customer satisfaction objectives
- Participate in business reviews and pipeline development
- Maintain accurate records using internal CRM/ERP systems (SAP implementation planned)

Essential:
- At least 2 years experience in an Account Manager or customer-facing sales role
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, conscientious approach
Desirable:
- Experience within electronics, RF, or technical manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with SAP
- Experience supporting distributors, CEMs, or direct customers
