About the Opportunity
Bolt Technical are recruiting for a Business Developer/Account Manager to join a leading distributor of industrial machine vision and imaging technologies. This is a new business focused, field-based sales role covering a wide range of industries including manufacturing, automotive, infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, sports tech, and intelligent transport systems.
You will be responsible for developing new opportunities and building strong customer relationships, working closely with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that improve inspection, measurement, quality control, and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across the Midlands and North UK
- Manage OEM, integrator, machine builder and end-user relationships
- Deliver consultative, solution-based sales into technical environments
- Promote machine vision hardware, software and engineering services
- Manage pipeline activity and CRM reporting
- Work with technical teams to design viable customer solutions
- Stay current with machine vision, AI and automation technologies
- Drive proactive prospecting and account growth activity
What They're Looking For
- Strong background in B2B technical sales or business development
- Proven new business/hunter mentality
- Experience selling technical products or solutions
