Location: Field-based (Beds, Herts, Cambs & Bucks within approx. 1 hour travel)
Salary: Qualified: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE; Trainee: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE. Plus overtime, night shift rates, and annual bonus.
The Role: We are recruiting for a well-established, family-run water engineering business delivering installation, maintenance, and remedial works on cold and hot water systems across healthcare, education, residential, hospitality, and industrial sites. This is a hands-on role involving water hygiene plumbing, tank installations and remedial works, TMVs, calorifiers, heaters, expansion vessels, and associated engineering works such as platforms, walkways, and handrails.
Requirements (Qualified):
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (or higher)
- A background in the water hygiene industry
- Experience with tank remedial works and installations
- Knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274G3 certification (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
- Comfortable with ladders, heavy lifting and travel
Trainee Requirements:
- NVQ / College Level 2 in Plumbing
- Some hands-on experience on the tools
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and work flexibly
