- Monday - Thursday: Flexible start between 06:30-08:30, finish between 15:30-17:30

Bolt Technical are recruiting for an Assembly Technician on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Telford. The company specialises in the production of precision components and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for highly technical industries. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team within a technically advanced manufacturing environment, offering long-term stability and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test products to customer drawings and specifications
- Carry out electro-mechanical assembly activities
- Perform low-level pressure system testing and vacuum leak testing
- Complete basic pneumatic assembly, wiring, and electrical testing using multimeters
- Create standard operating procedures for new work
- Organise and maintain personal workspace and tools
- Work in line with company health & safety and ISO procedures
- Support continuous improvement activities across production
What They’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Basic electrical testing and wiring knowledge
- Understanding of pneumatic systems and pressure testing advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
- Engineering apprenticeship or formal mechanical/electrical qualification desirable
