Job Profile

Due to continued growth and investment in state-of-the-art CNC technology, we are looking for a meticulous and experienced CNC Tool Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage tooling efficiently to ensure seamless production processes. The role involves setting and preparing tools for CNC milling machines, maintaining organisation in the tool-setting area, and ensuring tools are ready for production in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining and managing tooling equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Setting tools in holders as per tooling setup sheets.
  • Breaking down tools upon job completion.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the tool-setting area.
  • Ensuring tool holders are cleaned and in good working order.
  • Managing workload efficiently to meet production demands.
  • Ordering tooling supplies as needed.
  • Preparing raw materials for machining processes.
  • Maintaining vices and other workshop equipment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and housekeeping skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in CNC Milling and an understanding of different cutting tools, drills, and insert tools.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM). Overtime available (regular 5 to 10+ hours per week, paid at x1.5).
