Location: Langley, Berkshire
Salary: £33,500 to £39,500 per annum (negotiable, dependant on experience)

Company Profile: A specialist manufacturer of precision machined parts and components, who can also offer turn-key manufacturing utilising their Machine Shop, Grinding and Finishing, Weld and Fabrication, Electro/Mechanical Assembly & Test and Quality departments. Providing services to customers needing fast turn-around supply when refurbishing existing parts and components to manufacturing new products. Due to continued growth in orders and investment, there are positions open for CNC Machinists looking for a Programming Setting role.
Job Profile: As the successful CNC Miller, you will be working alongside a friendly and welcoming team, within a team player environment for a company that rewards in staff offering both company and individual target related bonuses. This role will suit someone who works well within a team and wants to be part of a growing company’s success.
Duties:
- CNC Milling – programming setting 3-axis CNC Mills with Fanuc controls from engineering drawings.
- Working from engineering drawings create programs and set 3-axis CNC Machining Centres.
- Producing components from 4mm up to 200mm max (usually under 100mm) in batches of 10s to 100s off.
- Machining Ali, Mild and Stainless Steels, Cooper, Brass, Zinc, Alloys, and ferrous / non-ferrous metals (no exotics) to tolerances of .05+/- from predominately Castings.
- Self-inspection of own work (company works to ISO9001).
Skills & Attributes:
- Programming Setting 3-axis CNC Mills with Fanuc controls (can consider other controls experience).
- 4-axis Milling experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- Create programs online from scratch working from engineering drawings.
- CADCAM Programming would be an advantage but not essential.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Self-inspection of own work.
Hours of Work: 38 hours per week
8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday
8am to 4pm, Friday
£17.00 to £20.00 p/hr
