The Quality Control Inspector will work as part of the Quality team to ensure that the products manufactured and supplied by Bolt and Nut Manufacturing meet and exceed our customers' requirements. To maintain quality records and work fully to the guidelines set out in our quality system.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of incoming stock.
  • Inspection of goods being sent to or returned from subcontract suppliers.
  • Inspection of machined items, to include first off, patrol and final inspection.
  • Final inspection of goods before they are released for despatch to the customer.
  • To provide cover and assistance to other members of the Quality Department.
  • All other suitable tasks that the Quality Director/Manager instructs the Inspector to carry out.
  • Conduct regular inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform tests and analyses on samples to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and standards.

Skills:

  • Experience using thread gauges, micrometres, thread micrometres and shadowgraph.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques and experience of maintaining quality records.
  • Good level of education and computer skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
