Are you a passionate Compliance Officer? We are a top-ranked London law firm, looking for a dedicated Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. What we’re looking for:

  • Previous legal compliance experience (5-8 years);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a very high level of numerical accuracy and intermediate IT skills (Excel and Word);
  • The ability to work against deadlines, a firm commitment to being an exceptional team player, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of personal injury law and the SRA Code of Conduct;
  • Educated to degree level (preferred, but not essential);
  • Cyber Security knowledge.

What you’ll do:

  • Audit files to ensure regulations are complied with, recording of processes and reporting;
  • Respond to staff queries, ensure reviews are up to date, and create and maintain data records;
  • Arrange inductions and organise regular staff compliance update meetings;
  • Take control of cyber awareness programs for staff;
  • File reviews and complaint handling;
  • Take responsibility for Data protection queries and subject access requests;
  • Management of junior staff.
