The role of the Housing Assistant is based primarily at The Arc, Clowne but there will be a need to travel within the district and work out of one of the area based Contact Centres as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills in order to deal with the public face to face or on the telephone.
- The ability to be diplomatic, resilient and enthusiastic working to targets and strict deadlines.
- The ability to advise customers on Housing related issues.
- A knowledge of Housing legislation.
- The ability to keep accurate computer and paper records.
- The ability to work within a team environment using own initiative and displaying a responsible and flexible attitude.
