Registered Veterinary Nurse or 2nd year SVN

Bollington Veterinary Centre are looking for a 2nd year Student Veterinary nurse, newly registered RVN, or experienced RVN to join our supportive 11 RVN team!

This is an exciting position in a growing and forward-thinking Independent 100% small animal practice, located 3miles north of Macclesfield, on the foothills of the Peak District in East Cheshire, offering both easy road and rail network links.

Our beautiful purpose built practice is nestled in the lovely picturesque village of Bollington.

We have a fantastic and friendly work family consisting of:

8 Vets, 11 RVN’s, and 8 experienced receptionists.

We pride ourselves on our professional service, upholding our fantastic reputation in the local community.

We are a TP practice, offering fully supported CPD that will provide the necessary platform to promote and encourage growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Full time 38.5 hours per week.
• A great weekday rota providing a great work/life balance.
• 1:4 Saturday mornings. (8:30 – 12:30)
• No out of hours/bank holidays.
• Regular lunch and learn.
• GP nursing role but areas of interest are actively encouraged and supported.
• Staff/pet discounts.

• Excellent rates of pay – (£25k – £31k dependant on experience.)
• Paid CPD and RCVS fees.
• RAMA (SQP) training (if required).
• In-house diagnostics and equipment investment (DR radiography, video flexible endoscope, laparoscopic kit, ultrasound, ECG, dental imaging, IDEXX blood chem and haematology).

Our practice regularly invests in diagnostic equipment. We have all the diagnostics tools usually found, including DR radiography, Video flexible Endoscope and our new laparoscopic kit.

We have regular visiting specialists in Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue surgery, Cardiology and Diagnostic Imaging.
