Our Company is without question the largest and most successful company in the field of international removals (“traslochi”) in Italy, characterized by a dynamic and international context. The London branch of Bolliger (Bolliger UK Ltd) has been operational for 12 years. We are looking for an Italian speaking sales executive to handle the generation of quotations (Rates Department), amongst other smaller roles.

In the UK, we are a small team composed of full and part time staff members, we look forward to welcoming a bright and enthusiastic member to our team. The new colleague will have to interface with potential customers, identify their needs and define with them the type of service required, while providing assistance to the client during the different phases of the removal.

Specifically, it will be required:

  • Set appointments with our technicians at the homes of those who move
  • Collect the data needed to make a quote, interfacing with colleagues nationally and internationally
  • Construct and define the service in its entirety, according to the methodologies provided, with a critical spirit and creativity
  • Construct different cost scenarios and identify the most suitable
  • Accurate drawing up of the estimate in Italian or English, considering the needs of the client
  • Follow up with the client, to check the receipt of the estimate and make an evaluation together
  • Commercial negotiation with the customer
  • Participation in the selection of suppliers

The new colleague must relate with private clients, companies, foreign and national agents, for the following types of services: International, national and local removals.

The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Basic English language skills
  • Knowledge of other languages (Portuguese for instance) would be greatly appreciated
  • Information technology: excellent familiarity with Excel and Word, speed in writing
  • Organizational skills and precision
  • Pleasant telephone presence
  • Management of high levels of stress and workloads
  • Predisposition to learning, ability to work in a team
  • Speed, time management and ability to identify priorities
  • Decision-making independence combined with the willingness to learn from one’s supervisors
  • Predisposition for logic and mathematics
  • A previous experience in the field of removals could be a preferential element, but the lack of it will not be in any way discriminating
  • The immediate availability of the candidate is appreciated

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 18 PM with 1 hour break for lunch.
