This is a critical leadership role during a period of significant transformation and investment. You will be responsible for stabilising current operations, improving processes, and building a scalable, efficient warehouse operating model that supports both immediate delivery and long-term growth. If you thrive in environments where you can drive change, introduce structure, and deliver operational excellence, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.**What You’ll Be Doing****Operational Leadership*** Own day-to-day warehouse performance, including inbound/outbound logistics, goods receipt, storage, dispatch, and returns* Ensure accurate and timely recording of all stock movements using approved systems* Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organised warehouse aligned with Health & Safety regulations**Inventory & Control*** Take full accountability for inventory accuracy, stock integrity, and audit readiness* Oversee cycle counts and support formal audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies* Ensure system data aligns with physical stock at all times**Stakeholder & Logistics Coordination*** Coordinate materials and assets to support project delivery and operations* Manage logistics relationships with suppliers and transport partners* Act as the key operational interface between warehouse and internal stakeholders**Your Key Focus*** Stabilise operations by resolving legacy inefficiencies and stock inaccuracies* Redesign and optimise warehouse layout to improve flow and utilisation* Implement structured processes, governance, and operating standards* Support introduction of new systems, equipment, and workflows* Build a scalable warehouse model that supports multiple projects and long-term contracts* Embed a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement**Success Looks Like*** High and sustained inventory accuracy* Efficient, timely inbound and outbound logistics* Optimised use of warehouse space* Strong compliance with processes and data standards* Minimal stock discrepancies and delivery delays* Full Health & Safety compliance* Reliable, high-quality service to internal stakeholders**What You’ll Bring****Experience & Expertise*** Proven experience leading warehouse operations or activities (advanced level)* Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, and audit requirements* Experience with warehouse management or CMDB-style inventory systems* Track record supporting project-based or field engineering environments* Experience improving underperforming or immature warehouse operations* Hands-on involvement in warehouse redesign, process improvement, or transformation initiatives**Skills & Attributes*** Highly motivated, hands-on leader with strong ownership mindset* Comfortable making autonomous operational decisions* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy* Ability to challenge legacy practices and drive meaningful change* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills* Collaborative and able to build strong cross-functional relationships* Capable of balancing day-to-day delivery with long-term transformation goals**Health & Safety*** Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in a warehouse environment**Why Join Us?**This is more than a warehouse role—it’s an opportunity to reshape and mature a critical operational function.
