The Management Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Group Support function by preparing accurate and timely reporting for head office entities and group holding companies. This position ensures compliance with accounting standards and contributes to the financial integrity of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post recurring journal entries for head office and group holding companies.
  • Perform monthly financial closing procedures, including cost centre and ledger reviews for accruals.
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations and conduct analytical reviews of balance sheet and income statement line items.
  • Analyze monthly travel and expense reports to ensure correct coding to project budgets and ongoing OPEX, plus other ad-hoc analysis as required.
  • Report monthly intercompany transactions and activity for inclusion in the Business Performance Report.
  • Assist in preparing analysis and reporting on cost centres for budget holders, including the Group Executive team.
  • Support the preparation of annual tax returns, statutory accounts, and audit processes.
  • Participate in finance projects as necessary.

  • Delivering high-quality outputs that withstand external review scrutiny.
  • Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous process improvement.

Essential Criteria (Must-Haves)

  • 1–3 years of working accountancy experience.
  • Knowledge of financial systems (preferably Workday ERP).
  • Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience in cash operations.
  • Strong Excel skills (Intermediate level).
