About The Role

The Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Boldyn projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved to time, cost, quality and safety standards. Acting as the key interface between site providers, contractors, solution designers, clients, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), customers and internal teams, the Delivery Manager drives programme momentum and resolves delivery issues quickly and effectively. The role spans planning, design, mobilisation, construction and handover. The Delivery Manager ensures site-level activities are delivered safely, on time and to scope, with a rigorous focus on deadlines and delivery discipline. They maintain accurate RAID logs, escalate risks promptly and provide clear reporting to the Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.

The Delivery Manager is accountable for contractor oversight, site access and approvals, programme tracking, commercial awareness and compliance with health and safety requirements including CDM, or equivalent safety regulations. They work closely with the Solution Designer Manager and Senior Design Engineer to ensure technical requirements are integrated seamlessly into site delivery and collaborate with the Deployment Partners to maintain alignment across all delivery disciplines.

The individual is the trusted lead for maintaining the design and installation programme, solving issues and unblocking problems, fostering collaboration across internal and external teams, driving the team and setting the pace, working towards delivery commitments and upholding Boldyn cultural values.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Project Coordination and Management

Deliver projects from initiation through to handover with a rigorous focus on meeting deadlines and delivery discipline. Act as the primary interface between clients, MNOs, site providers, Deployment Partners and internal teams. Co-ordinate site access, design and build schedules, landlord consents, planning approvals and logistics clearances. Work closely with the Solution Designer Manager, Senior Design Engineer, Project Manager and Deployment Partner to ensure timely integration of design and build activities. Maintain programme momentum by proactively resolving issues, unblocking problems and escalating risks promptly to the Senior Project Manager or Programme Manager.

  • Scope definition and control: produce, review and own detailed Scopes of Work with clear definition of interfaces, responsibilities and acceptance criteria, ensuring scope remains controlled and auditable throughout delivery.
  • Multi-disciplinary technical understanding: integrate design and build elements across radio systems, electrical installation, structural design, containment and mechanical services, balancing and prioritising across these domains when making programme or design decisions.
  • Deployment Partner oversight and site delivery: scope, appoint and manage Deployment Partners with accountability for cost, quality and delivery, applying practical judgement on-site with strong awareness of construction logistics and methods.
  • Budget and cost control: manage delivery against commercial constraints, identify cost risks early and work proactively to protect budgets, understanding cost build-up, variation control and the implications of design or programme shifts on commercial performance.
  • RAID and Programme Management

Create, maintain and manage detailed RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) logs for assigned projects. Track milestones, manage critical paths and escalate blockers to ensure deadlines are met. Identify risks and opportunities early, applying mitigation to protect delivery outcomes. Provide transparent and accurate reporting to stakeholders at all stages.

  • Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure rigorous QA processes are applied, including checks on structural stability, equipment functionality, power reliability, fibre/backhaul integration and overall readiness. Health & Safety and CDM: demonstrate strong, applied understanding of CDM 2015, or equivalent safety regulations, including the roles of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor, champion safe working practices and design compliance across all stages and hold or work in line with SMSTS / SSSTS and CITB CDM Awareness training. Carry out readiness reviews and obtain approvals before go-live or handover.

  • Design/Solution Awareness

Design delivery awareness: understand the needs and challenges of RF system integration, collaborate with Solution Designer Manager to translate coverage models into buildable outcomes and ensure alignment across architectural, structural, RF and electrical/mechanical deliverables, controlling versioning so designs are construction-ready and approval-compliant. Planning, building control and site compliance: understand how designs interact with building control, landlord consent, structural approval and site rules and navigate constraints such as working hours, permits and site access restrictions.

  • Process drive and time management: adopt processes and procedures that increase predictability of solution delivery, applying rigorous time management and thorough mitigation so any time deviations are actively managed and controlled.
  • Review and approve designs for buildability and compliance, ensuring solutions are practical to construct and align with programme and approvals.
  • Documentation and Approvals

Review and approve key project documentation including, High Level Designs (HLD's), Multi-Skilled Visits (MSVs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and Build Handover Packs (BHOPs). Verify project costs and safety documentation in collaboration with commercial and H&S teams. Change control and configuration management: implement structured change control aligned with technical, commercial and programme impacts, maintaining traceability and auditability of design evolution, approvals and version management across all disciplines.

  • Stakeholder and Communication Management

Proactively manage communications with customers, MNO stakeholders, internal programme teams and third-party contractors. Clearly articulate project status, risks and resolution strategies across diverse stakeholders and ensure alignment of delivery expectations.

  • Distance Working

Be flexible to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland, including weekends when required. Adapt quickly to site-specific conditions, applying practical judgement in live environments to balance accuracy with delivery speed.

What You'll Bring

  • Essential:

5 years' project delivery experience within telecoms, construction or infrastructure. Proven experience delivering DAS, Wi-Fi, fibre or small cell projects in live environments, on time and to budget. Strong understanding of UK mobile network architecture, CDM 2015 regulations and site compliance. Demonstrated capability in RAID management, scope control, programme tracking and budget management. Ability to lead and manage Deployment Partners, ensuring safe, timely and high-quality delivery. Skilled at building relationships with MNOs, clients, consultants and internal teams, with clear and confident communication. Financially aware, able to assess the commercial impact of design or programme decisions. Resilient, proactive and adaptable in fast-paced delivery environments, with a rigorous focus on deadlines. Full UK driving licence.

  • Desirable:

PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project management qualifications. Actively applies structured methodologies across project lifecycles. IOSH, SMSTS, CDM or RF Awareness competence. Degree in construction, civil engineering, telecoms management or project management (eg. BEng, BSc or equivalent).
