About The Role
To act as a deputy to the Financial Controller, assisting with the accounting, reporting and year end audit processes within the financial control function. This includes implementing tailored procedures for tracking, reconciling, and reporting capital and operating expenditure, and acting as the main point of contact for supplier finance teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout the process.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the month-end close process across 5 entities including preparation of journal entries, completion of data-intensive calculations, and reconciliation of project-related financial data.
- Supporting the delivery of core financial processes including accounts payable, financial close, and management reporting across the business.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and delivery of accurate variance reporting to support informed business decisions.
- Ownership of the monthly balance sheet review process, ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled, risk-assessed, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Cashflow forecasting/review responsibilities; Working capital insights and risk monitoring; Review of supplier.
