We are currently seeking a Senior Designer to join our dynamic creative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping and executing innovative design concepts that resonate with our clients’ brands and objectives.
As the most senior designer on the team, you will oversee a wide range of creative projects, from digital asset creation to advertising campaigns, collaborating frequently with our Creative Director and our Art Director.
You will have a deep understanding of the strategic design process, possess technical expertise across multiple platforms, and thrive on producing bold, compelling visual work.
This role requires a versatile designer who can merge conceptual creativity with flawless technical execution across digital, social, print, and web channels, producing bold, impactful work that advances Boldspace’s purpose: to make a positive impact by building meaningful brands and creating bold communications.

The Role
You will lead a small, growing design team of three. Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with the Art Director, you will be a significant contributor to our work as we grow our portfolio.
You’ll take ownership of creative briefs, sometimes working solo and at other times collaborating within a team to deliver on both internal and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of design, process, presentation, and execution.
- Lead teams and oversee multiple, varied design projects simultaneously.
- Set the design standards of the agency with bold, visually compelling work.
- Bring a strong technical understanding of creative advertising, graphic design, web design, and animation.
- Design a varied range of assets for the agency, from client work to pitch documents, social campaigns, and brand development.
- Develop conceptual creative concepts and produce innovative artwork.
- Confidently present design work with strategic justifications, leading pitches and presentations.
- Maintain relevant knowledge of design influences, trends, and cultural references.
Key Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, with a solid understanding of After Effects or equivalent for animation.
- Advanced efficiency in Figma for digital and UI/UX design projects, with a solid understanding of web design principles.
- Strong understanding of file formats, export requirements, and colour spaces for both digital and print applications.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Monday.com) to coordinate work effectively within the team and track project timelines.
- Some working knowledge of 3D design and motion graphics is desirable.
