Help build and scale the AI platform shaping the future of brand and communications. Boldstream has just launched, and it is already in the hands of some of the worldβs biggest brands. In the weeks since launch, Boldstream has seen adoption from large, sophisticated organisations trailing the platform to rethink how strategy, creativity and performance come together through AI. We are at an inflection point: real customers, real data, real commercial momentum, and a clear opportunity to define a new category of AI-native marketing and communications software. We are now looking for a Senior Engineer to help us scale Boldstream from early success into a category-defining platform.
About Boldstream & Boldspace
Boldstream is an AI-native marketing and communications SaaS platform built by Boldspace, a 6-year-old brand and communications business that has grown year-on-year since inception. Our founders experienced first-hand the lack of transparency, measurement and actionable insight in the industry, and decided to build the platform they wished they had.
From day one, Boldstream has focused on:
- Agentic workflows that bring together strategy, creativity and performance
- Retrieval-augmented insights grounded in client and platform data
- Intelligent automation across analytics, reporting and insight generation
Requirements
As a Senior Engineer, you will own the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered features across Boldstream. This is not a prototyping role. You will be building production-grade, customer-facing systems used by major brands, working at the intersection of:
- OpenAI's latest agentic tooling
- LangChain / LangGraph
- TypeScript and modern web stacks
- Supabase (Postgres, vector search, auth, edge functions)
You will design, ship, observe and iterate on AI features that materially affect customer adoption, trust and long-term value.
What You Will Work On:
- AI & Agentic Product Development
- Design and implement agentic workflows using OpenAI (Responses API, AgentKit, Agent Builder) and LangChain / LangGraph
- Build reliable multi-step reasoning systems with tool-calling, fallbacks, guardrails and evaluation
- Architect and implement RAG pipelines (embeddings, retrieval strategies, caching) grounded in Boldstream and client data
- Power analytics copilots, automated reporting, insight generation and internal tools
Full-Stack Ownership
- Backend: TypeScript / Node or edge functions, Supabase (Postgres + vector store), schema design, migrations and performance tuning
- Frontend: Modern TypeScript front-ends (React or similar) for dashboards, workflows and internal tooling
- Integrate OpenAI and other LLM providers with strong observability, cost controls and resilience
Engineering Quality & Platform Foundations
- Champion testing and reliability: unit tests, integration tests, synthetic prompt evals, agent health checks
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies and AI-ready infrastructure
- Use modern tooling (GitHub, Linear, Cursor, Lovable, etc.) to manage work
Benefits
- Pensions: a 5% employer contribution.
- Private Healthcare: Vitality
- Holiday: unlimited holiday (including all UK public holidays) β we trust our staff to take the time they need and still excel in their jobs β and days off for birthdays and moving house are guaranteed
- Very Flexible working
- Socials: team socials regularly, chosen by the team.
- Team retreats: time to get to know each other away from the office.
- Bonus: transparent bonus structure where you can receive a % of base salary based on personal and company performance.
- Supporting good causes: we contribute some of our outperformance to charitable causes which the team help choose.
- Wellness: time within working hours every week for those that want or need it.
- Monthly benefits budget: Β£50 per month, every month, to spend on whatever you want β from a home delivered vegetable box and discounted gym memberships, to mental health support and professional coaching.
A CARBON NEUTRAL BUSINESS
Boldspace measures its performance on profit, people and planet combined. From day one, we will offset your carbon footprint entirely. The cost of this is covered 100% by the company.
