ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Marketing & Operations Executive to support day-to-day marketing at Boldspace, while also supporting on essential office operations. This isn’t a traditional marketing role. We’ve built an AI-augmented marketing process - the executive’s job is to work with internal teams on content while supporting the system in production, reviewing and refining outputs, maintaining quality and ensuring everything goes out on time and on brand. If you’re someone who thrives on organisation, is genuinely comfortable with AI tools and gets satisfaction from making things work smoothly - this is the role for you.

Marketing

  • Manage the content calendar: maintain the quarterly plan, track deadlines, chase briefs from the senior team, and ensure nothing slips.
  • Support the weekly content pipeline: each week, you’ll process briefs from the senior team, generate content and assets, and schedule execution across relevant channels.
  • Manage social media across LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Support newsletter production: curate content, generate drafts, build emails, and distribute to segmented audiences.
  • Support blog and thought leadership production: generate first drafts from senior team briefs, coordinate reviews and publish to the website.
  • Support outreach campaigns: working with the senior team, you will build prospect lists, set up email sequences and monitor performance.
  • Produce marketing reports: weekly updates and monthly performance reports using AI-assisted reporting and analytics.
  • Create visual assets: use AI-powered design tools to produce on-brand graphics for social media, events, case studies, and marketing collateral.

Events

  • Support the planning and execution of 15-20 events per year in the Boldspace office: manage the full cycle from outreach list-building and invite design through to physical room setup, catering, and coordination on the day.
  • Coordinate event outreach using email sequences, ensuring no crossover between simultaneous campaigns.
  • Repurpose event content into social posts, blog summaries and follow-up communications.
  • Manage the events community list, keeping it clean and up to date.

Office Operations

  • General office management: working with the Operations Manager, you will liaise with IT support and ensure the office environment is kept to standard.
  • Supplier management: support with critical suppliers including office supplies.
  • Internal events and culture: support staff events, social activities, and culture programmes.
  • New joiner onboarding: physical setup (desk, IT, welcome pack) in coordination with the Head of Talent.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail. You’re the person who spots the typo, remembers the deadline, and follows up without being asked.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing coordination or marketing executive role. Agency or professional services experience is a strong advantage.
  • You actively use AI in your work today. Not just aware of it - you use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar as part of your day-to-day.
  • Experience with a marketing automation or CRM platform (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar). You understand workflows, lists, email sequences, and data hygiene.
  • Comfortable with design tools. You don’t need to be a designer, but you can work within brand templates to produce polished visual assets using AI-powered or templated design platforms.
  • Good written English. You can write, review, edit, and polish content so it reads naturally and is on brand.
  • Happy to roll up your sleeves. This role includes physical tasks: setting up event spaces, unpacking deliveries, managing suppliers. You’re not precious about that.
  • Experience with social media management across LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals; interest in AI search and emerging search technologies.
  • Event management experience, particularly in-office or small-scale corporate events.
  • Interest in the PR, communications or brand industries.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

We want to be upfront about what this role is - and what it isn’t:

  • It’s not a senior marketing strategist position. The strategic direction for marketing comes from the senior team. Your job is to execute brilliantly. That is not to say your ideas won’t be taken into account - they will, and you’ll be able to bring your ideas to life!
  • It’s not a pure office manager role. Operations are important but they’re a minority of the job (around 20%). The primary focus is marketing.
  • It is a role for someone who makes things.

Pensions: a 5% employer contribution.

Holiday: unlimited holiday (including all UK public holidays) - we trust our staff to take the time they need and still excel in their jobs - and days off for birthdays and moving house are guaranteed!

Very Flexible working

Socials: team socials regularly, chosen by the team.

Team retreats: time to get to know each other away from the office.

Bonus: transparent bonus structure where you can receive a % of base salary based on personal and company performance.

Supporting good causes: we contribute some of our outperformance to charitable causes which the team help choose.

Wellness: time within working hours every week for those that want or need it.

Monthly benefits budget: £50 per month, every month, to spend on whatever you want - from a home delivered vegetable box and discounted gym memberships, to mental health support and professional coaching.

A CARBON NEUTRAL BUSINESS

Boldspace measures its performance on profit, people and planet combined. From day one, we will offset your carbon footprint entirely. The cost of this is covered 100% by the company.
