This position will be an important senior presence within the consumer team and a trusted lead across a number of accounts.

You will be hands-on, strategically minded and growth-oriented, with a strong consumer PR agency background and a passion for building fame, relevance and reputation for consumer brands.

Requirements
  • Act as the senior strategic and commercial lead on a number of consumer client accounts, owning client relationships, advising independently at senior level and taking responsibility for account performance and growth.
  • Support the Head of Consumer PR in shaping and evolving the consumer PR offer, contributing ideas and recommendations that drive growth and differentiation.
  • Lead the delivery of consumer PR programmes and campaigns, working closely with colleagues across creative, strategy, digital and analytics to deliver integrated, high-impact work.
  • Play a mentoring role within the consumer PR team, supporting more junior colleagues through guidance, feedback and day-to-day leadership.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of output across your accounts - work that is proactive, insight-led, creatively strong and flawlessly executed.
  • Take clear responsibility for identifying and converting growth opportunities within existing clients, including expanding scope, responding to new briefs and proactively shaping work that delivers additional value.
  • Lead new business pitches end-to-end, including shaping the strategic approach, directing the team, presenting to clients and confidently handling questions and objections in the room.
  • Build the agency's profile within the consumer PR space through your work, relationships and market knowledge.
  • Stay close to the consumer and media landscape, identifying cultural moments, trends and opportunities that can be translated into meaningful PR ideas for clients.
Skills
  • Senior strategic consumer PR advisor: You will be a confident and credible voice in client meetings, able to provide clear, thoughtful advice to senior marketing and communications stakeholders within consumer brands.
  • Consumer PR agency experience: You will have strong experience working in a consumer-focused PR agency, with a proven track record of delivering standout consumer PR campaigns and always-on programmes.
  • Growth mindset: You will be excited by the opportunity to help keep building on our already strong consumer PR offering, whether through spotting upsell opportunities, contributing to pitches, new business generation or helping build the agency's reputation in the market.
  • Team collaboration and development: You will be comfortable guiding and supporting junior team members, helping them develop their skills and confidence while contributing positively to team culture.
  • Strong commercial judgement: You will demonstrate strong commercial judgement, including scope management, pricing awareness, margin sensitivity and the confidence to have commercial conversations with clients.
  • Multi-channel thinking: You understand that modern consumer PR goes beyond media relations, and you know how to integrate social, influencer, content, partnerships and experiential thinking into campaigns.
  • Problem solving and judgement: You are comfortable dealing with day-to-day challenges independently, offering practical, intelligent solutions that balance creativity, reputation and client needs.
  • Independence and initiative: You are self-motivated, organised and proactive, taking responsibility for your work, development and contribution to the wider team.
Experience
  • Around 7-10 years' experience working in a consumer PR agency environment, delivering consumer PR programmes and campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of the consumer media landscape, with demonstrable experience securing coverage and delivering successful campaigns.
  • Confident presenter, able to clearly explain PR strategies, activity and outcomes to clients.
  • Experience supporting and leading new business development efforts, including contributing to pitches and using ideas or networks to help originate opportunities.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members and supporting their development.
